Safeguarding
In Parish
The Archdiocese has established a Safeguarding Commission who acts on behalf of the Archbishop to protect children and vulnerable adults throughout the archdiocese and acts on any report of abuse, whether physical, sexual or mental. Every parish has at least one Safeguarding Representative who acts as a link between the parish and the Archdiocese Safeguarding Coordinator. The parish representatives have to attend regular courses to bring them up to date with safeguarding policies and they ensure that all volunteers in the parish who work with either children or vulnerable adults have been checked at least once and will be checked again at regular intervals.
The representative for St Paul's and St Timothy's is Sue Bradley (Email is parishsafeguards@gmail.com)
