Brief welcome
Welcome to the Parishes of St Paul and St Timothy in the West Derby area of Liverpool. We are a growing parishes with at present around 500 people attending our three weekend Masses, Saturday 5:30pm at St Timothy's, Sunday 8:30am and 11:15am at St Paul's.
We were planning to publish maps showing the boundaries of St Paul’s and St Timothy’s but have been advised by the Archdiocese not to do this since boundaries can change so maps become out of date. Please ask at the Parish Office (by email or in person) if you want to know whether you are in the parish or not. To find out which schools your children may be able to attend, use this link.
It all started when…..
St Paul's church was opened in 1914 and consecrated in 1915. St Timothy's parish was established in 1957 and the two parishes were ‘clustered’ in 1997

The Parish Centenary History Group has written a document about the two parishes. An abridged and edited draft version for St Paul’s is available in the History of St Paul’s.
The features of St Paul’s are described in 2 parts:

Finally....
Whether you are old or young, a new parishioner or a well established parishioner, the parish history is always interesting but it is only important if it helps us to build our community spirit and we move on from the past.
